A 3-Day Detox Diet Plan for a Healthy and Clean Body

Learn a new way to detox your body. Our method is easy and relaxing. You only need to drink some tasty teas and smoothies for 3 days. You don’t have to starve yourself or take any scary pills. You just have to eat fresh, natural, and yummy food. This will help you feel better, digest better, and maybe even lower your blood sugar and blood pressure.

For 3 days, eat fruits and vegetables that have bright colors, whole grains, and beans. These foods have antioxidants that help your liver get rid of bad stuff and make them easier to flush out. Some foods that have a lot of antioxidants are spinach, kale, and cranberries.

Fight off chemicals with food

Garlic, onions, and eggs have sulfuric compounds that help your body make its own antioxidant, called glutathione. This antioxidant is very good at removing toxins, including metals like mercury and arsenic.

Choose organic food

Chemicals that kill bugs are also toxins, “and they can be harmful to you,” says Purdy. A new study in Food and Chemical Toxicology shows that rats that ate food with these chemicals had tumors and died sooner. Drink a lot of water!

You want to get rid of toxins by peeing, pooping, and sweating them out, says Mary Purdy, RD, a nutrition expert at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle. Eat clean food

Don’t eat processed foods (anything with ingredients that you can’t say or don’t know), fast food, fried food, caffeine, dairy, alcohol, red meat, sugar, and white flour. These foods have the toxins that you want to get rid of.

Snack smartly

If you feel hungry between meals, eat organic fruit and nuts, or have a small salad with some chicken or salmon on top. Use lemon juice and a little extra virgin olive oil for dressing.”

Drink herbal teas that help your body get rid of toxins
